The AFL S017081 Fujikura 31S Fusion Splicer, with dual-camera active V-groove fiber alignment, provides consistent performance at high speed: 6-second splicing in SM mode and 25-second shrink time, tube-heating with 60mm sleeve. It is used with SM, MM, DSF and NZDS fibers, from 125µm cladding diameter up to 3mm coating diameter. The 31S offers 10,000 results storage, 5-16mm cleaves length splicing, 100 splice and 30 heating modes, 2 axis 2CMOS camera with 5" color LCD, plus PC connection via USB. Long-life electrodes will last for 5,000 splices. It is shock, dust and moisture resistant.

The fully ruggedized 31S fusion splicer comes with installed interchangeable sheath clamps, set plates, AC adapter, BTR-11 battery pack (for 200 cycles), FH-70-250 and FH-70-900 fiber holders, power cord, ELCT2-16B spare electrodes (pair), manual on CD, Quick Guide, single fiber stripper & case.
